Our Farm is your Table

Dine on the soil that grows our wines! Join us for a truly unique experience, dining close to the ground as the very soil beneath our vineyards becomes your table. From the first glass of Cap Classique to the final pour of iconic The Jem, the evening is a conversation between land, farming, food, and wine. A night that embodies the heart of Waterford Estate, where Dexter cattle raised in the vineyard provide steak cooked slowly over open flames as part of a three-course Harvest-style dinner, with each course perfectly paired with estate-grown wines, all set against a backdrop of a connection to nature few will ever forget. The evening will be hosted by viticulturist David van Schalkwyk and cellarmaster Mark le Roux, who will guide you through the story of our land, our wines, and our regenerative practices. You’ll learn about the soils that shape our wines while dining on the earth, gaining a deep appreciation for nature’s role in every harvest.
