"This is our third time doing the wine safari, and once again, Waterford did not disappoint! I cannot recommend this experience enough, but be sure to go there hungry and with enough time to fully enjoy the experience, which lasts about 3+ hours. You get to sample a wonderful variety of their wines in different settings around the estate. The settings are beautiful, and the wines are fantastic. All the staff are friendly and helpful, even when we contacted them from the UK. This has been our best wine tasting experience in South Africa, and we will definitely return on our next visit - thank you."

“The Jem is gloriously unique, built on a base of Cabernet Sauvignon with 52% Syrah, Mourvèdre, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese and Barbera towering above it. Part Bordeaux, part Rhône Valley part northern Italy, it's also uniquely South African, with stylish, perfumed, elegant aromas and flavours of red and black fruits, nuanced oak and a long, tapering finish.”

"We stopped by during our wine-tasting tour without a reservation, hoping to grab some food as well. Initially, it seemed they’d stopped serving food for the day, and we’d only be able to do the wine tasting. However, a lovely lady offered to check with the manager and kitchen staff to see if they could make something for us. To our delight, she quickly returned to let us know they could prepare a small selection of dishes to accompany our wine tasting. How amazing and flexible of them! We were seated in a beautiful, airy private room, where we enjoyed both the wine tasting and the delicious food. Malaika took wonderful care of us—she was friendly, professional, personable, and efficient. Truly a gem and a fantastic ambassador for Waterford. We weren’t rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The food portions were generous and very tasty, and prices were quite reasonable. I would absolutely return and highly recommend Waterford to others. Thank you for hosting us—it was exceptional service!"

"Waterford hosted over 190 ladies in their beautiful, intimate courtyard. The carefully curated three-course set menu, paired with their amazing wines, was a delight at this event! The starter featured a deliciously light salad made with fresh tomatoes. The main dish was a delightful surprise! The pasta with chicken breast was cooked al dente and served hot. The dessert was equally refreshing. The service was absolutely excellent! Overall, I give it five stars!"
